    Turner`s/Calguns member P.P.T.

Just returned from Turner`s in Corona. Completed the sale and transfer of my handgun. After all the complaining I've read about nightmare P.P.T.s and flakey C.G. members, I'm pleased to report everything went well.

First of all Sanchez116 was very easy to deal with, excellent communication, arrived on time and payed in full. No games, beginning to end everything exactly as agreed.

Walked in the store, was promptly checked in and helped by Gonzo. He was very courteous, treated us as though our businesses was very important to him. In and out in 20 minutes.
I'd like to express my gratitude to both men.

I wish I can get that treatment at turners

I never had no luck with them.

Why not tell them in person, in a private message, or i-trader? These threads continue to confuse me.

      Glad it went well.

"impossible, you lie, there's no way you got good service at Turners".

actually, I don't doubt it. I have walked into Turners on my lunchbreak and being out the door in ~15 minutes with a new gun placed into 10-day jail. pickup took a little longer, around 20 minutes because I had to wait for a manager to confirm that the docs were in order before it got released to me.

why not tell everyone about a good transaction at Turners when it seems that you only hear about the bad ones?

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

I've been to 4 different Turners and they've all been pretty good. The only black mark would be the associate spreading FUD at the San Bernardino location a while back. He was scaring a couple into buying ammo "because soon we'll need to record every ammo sale with the info on your ID".

In regards to the OP, I think the "flaky" bit is overblown. Remember, for the most part you'll hear 9 bad stories for every good one and for every bad one the guy getting flaked on sort of had it coming (bad communication, too trusting).

What's Turner's charging for PPT these days? It is standardized at all locations?

$35 ($25DROS + $10dealer), just like at every dealer in the state should be.

it's always good to be informed about a shop or store that has given good service as of late.

Just did a PPT at their Orange store. One quirky bit: they insisted that an AR with a bullet button have a magazine in it. I didn't have one on me and had to buy one. Didn't raise a stink since I didn't want to waste the seller's time. Otherwise it was smooth enough and took half an hour.
